just yesterday night i received an amazon letter which they stated that my toshiba laptop has a battery issue that could make it explode.so, in lieu that i bought a defective product can i claim for a replacement or a new computer because of this hazard?would like some opinions from you guys

That particular battery was sold for 70 to 120. Again, you can get a replacement for free, though.
