No. I love Linux myself, but it's not just the devs holding back gaming. It's shitty drivers as well. And a little bit of the "It's not open-source, I won't have it on my system" rhetoric from it's users. The linux community has made a toxic environment for game developers that want to actually make money. It's getting better- and hopefully Valves efforts will help, at least with Debian based distros, but as of yet, there is no reason for AAA devs to support linux from a profit standpoint.

Yeah you have a really good point there actually. A lot of the Linux crowd are completely elitist and hipster and hold back a lot of possible progress in the name of 'purity'. And as for the driver situation on Linux, this should tell you how I feel about that: fuck you AMD for your shitty half assed Linux drivers that are only slightly more useful then the generic drivers while faithfully releasing awesome updates for Windows all the time. I didn't buy my graphics card for Windows, I bought it for my COMPUTER.

Lol wut

I'm sorry, did you miss the whole Snowden thing that just happened? Is it really wrong for people to want access to the code their running on their machine? You have no idea what your machine is doing.

lol.. well, don't feel too bad. AMD drivers were complete and utter horseshit on Windows for years too. We used to call Catalyst Cataclysm. But yeah, with Linux, it's all about nVidia for now.
