Isn't this a symptom of survival of the fittest? Should we allow people get dumber and dumber? Just because something isn't designed to perfection doesnt means you shouldn't know how to use it anyway. Something deep inside me finds it unsettling that most people do not yet basic computer skills or knowledge.

Picture this: far in the future, people are ALL users and no one actually understands the devices they use anymore. There is an elite subsect of programmers thst can dictate the users behavior and who hold tremedous power.

..now that i write it out ,it doesnt sound so bad. If we follow this trend of 'designing for idiots', we might actually get smart people with enough power to change the world for good. The barrier to use technology gets smaller and smaller, but the barrier to create software gets higher and higher.
