This is exactly my problem with leaving it. There are communities within Reddit that one just cannot find elsewhere. Sometimes these communities are the largest of their kind in regards to users and amount of content. It's very hard to replace that.

You can go to /v/leagueoflegends. I don't know how good it is, but it can't be worse than /r/leagueoflegends.

Voat can't continue to grow if its users remain connected to reddit, though. In my opinion it would've been irresponsible for me not to have deleted my reddit account and would have implicitly supported Pao and her cronies.

I think just the name recognition alone will keep people going to reddit for a while, and the problems reddit is currently facing aren't really affecting a lot of these smaller, unique communities that have found their place on reddit, at least thus far.
