in my opinion, the survey had bogus questions AND bogus participants. if the car has no way to stop in time, and nowhere to go, then it's the fault of the pedestrians. we can't have a car that will drive us into a wall if another human makes a fatal mistake. if a human was driving the car the pedestrians would be either hit, or the driver would make the split second decision to drive into the wall. id rather have a car programmed to avoid if possible but if not then protect the passenger. next thing you know, people will start jumping in front of cars to harm the passengers. what kind of fucked up world would that be?
