Well that's the reason I created this account today. May reddit burn to the ground.

I did the same. Reddit is trying to have its second Digg moment. I like this place!

Same here. Tried to make an account during the last exodus, but this site overloaded.

It overloaded a lot in the past. Now it's once a month if that. Depends on if a DDOS occurs, but we all take it in good faith.

I'm completely flabbergasted as to why the mainstream media, politicians (except Trump), corporate web sites, etc want to cover up Islamic terrorism. After all, it is the excuse for declaring the Constitution, Bill of Rights etc null and void after 2001. The wars, the surveillance, the airport molestation, have all been justified by the threat of Islamic terrorism.

2013 and 2014 they profiled this dirtbag but did nothing about it. Now over 50 people are dead. All that surveillance was worthless.

Tell me again why our rights have been falsely stripped (they are inalienable so cannot truly be taken), and why Islamic radicalism is being hushed whilst they are being ushered into the country en masse?

Hence the whole "cold dead hands" argument with guns. It seems crazy at first thought, but gun rights are legitimately one of the two concepts I would risk my life for, the other being free speech.

This is why I'm not quite so worried as most on the topic of tyranic government. One way or another, ill never live to see the day tyrants force my people into slavery.

I'm honestly surprised to finally see someone that understands what is actually going on. Good on you for realizing the truth.

Don't forget intentionally running our economies into the ground - not only through importing Muslim loonies, but also through forcing us to use fiat currencies, printing money at central banks, and fractional reserve lending etc.

First they create the problem, then they offer the "solution" which was the plan all along. Follow http://www.corbettreport.com for more information.

They will beg for safety when their wives and daughters are raped in the streets.

Happening in germany, no help in sight, they fucked up the crucial time window they had, now they pushed to far and people start rising.

It was never about radical Islam, the government could give a fuck less how many of us are killed, it was about creating enough fear that the american people would giftwrap their rights and hand them over to the federal government. sources of information are polarized and in certain instances, blatantly manipulated in this country. If ever we all got on the same page and learned to find common ground, we might be able to effectively change the things we don't like about our society, our government, and our media. We know our channels of information are not organic but rather spun and targeted towards the people who are willing to accept whichever narrative is being presented. people rarely have all the facts, and even if they do they just keep chanting the mantra dictated to them by their lizard overlords in order to not leave the confines of their intellectual comfort zone. it incenses us and makes us zealous enough to turn on one another. and the government, the media, the powers that be will use this as another excuse to encroach on our liberties. Radical Islam, which I whole-heartedly believe is a major problem in the world and in our country which absolutely needs to be dealt with, is not really the crux of the issue when it comes to the solidarity free societies around the world. Our security needs to be in our hands, not the governments. Fuck what the media has to say about it. Fuck what the government has to say about it. Fuck what all these cowards that would rather only see weapons in the hands of criminals and government officials have to say about it. Fuck all these traitors that sold out our right to free speech and our right to be secure in our possessions have to say about it. Fuck this nanny state we've created. Fuck the police that abide by it. Fuck the people who continue to do nothing about it. We as a people need to collectively pull our heads from our asses and realize what the hell is on the line here.

The more I think about this, the more I'm starting to believe it: http://www.westernspring.co.uk/the-coudenhove-kalergi-plan-the-genocide-of-the-peoples-of-europe/

Now whether Reddit, Facebook, Google, Twitter, the MSM, and all the other censored sites are in on that or aware of it doesn't really matter. They play into its hands.

Most of them won't leave. They're a bunch of pussies in need of a safe space free from opinions that challenge their own, and Reddit provides that safe space. Besides, unsubbing from /r/news is far from an exodus.

That's OK, we don't need the safe spacers. Let them all stay over there, telling each other comforting lies.

I go to reddit for hobby forums and shitposts, I come to voat for opinions and shitposts. Kinda like 2 bars: one is where you go to read, have a drink menu, meet up after work. The other is a hole where your asshole friends are, they have shit beer but at get hammered prices, and an obnoxious live band that both sucks and rocks at the same time. While I prefer the hole, it's small and not a good place to talk about my mint spring roll recipe.

I guess I don't get my news anywhere noteworthy. I'm pretty oblivious about most things until it's in my face from somewhere.

[–] ellen_pao_is_shit 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

IMO the majority of Redditors are not safe spacers. I see a lot of complaints about the censorship and many of them have anti-Islamic sentiments if you they are allowed to express them. They just can't break free from the Reddit beast for one reason or another

Well, I guess I'm giving voat another try,and it may be for good if the reddit admins don't do something about this.

[–] pinkmagnet 0 points 43 points (+43|-0) ago

I left over a year ago and never looked back. I have no reason to go to that site. Voat doesn't have as much content but the discussions are way better knowing that people can say what they want.

and that is just it. If you shut down a dialogue, it is over. I have enjoyed threads where shit gets heated. It is hysterical, insightful, unsettling, awesome. People will let down their guard or loose their shit and let something slip. It is incredibly entertaining and the reason I got hooked on reddit, digg, voat etc in the first place.

The only mention of the shooting on "the front page of the internet" is shitposts from r/The_Donald.

Bless them but it's very hard to get news from people like that and it's certainly not impartial.

I open fucken Flipboard and there's a ton of new information, interviews with witnesses and survivors, etc. right there in the default news section.

It's just simple math at this stage, you're not going to find out about events of a certain nature on reddit anymore.

I'm flabbergasted but what can be done? It's absurd really.

I don't believe this is going to kill Reddit. But as you can tell by my brand new account, I do believe that their moronic behavior will kill the site off pretty damn soon. And it's about time, Reddit has become a bloated carcass of what it once was, with sjws flying around feeding their delusions on the rot.

That other place has apparently almost 9 million subscribers. So an amount of a few thousand people who really leave doesn't make waves either. Yet.
