They already got access to the information from the NSA. The NSA was used for monitoring terrorist activity. It wasn't as useful as other methods but it was designed to find terrorist activity using meta data. It isn't some big conspiracy.

So your big evidence for the NSA being the good guys is an article detailing how they are essentially useless and how all of this bulk data collection hasn't actually stopped any terrorists at all? Oh man, you sure showed me!
