Archived WTF!? Apple Says Goodbye to Quicktime (technology)

I definitely did not see this coming! So... Apple had some security flaws with Quicktime found by Trend Micro cyber security systems and the Federal Government issued a warning to all Windows users to uninstall the software. Then Apple comes out and says they are discontinuing the software.

Except Media Player is not used instead of YouTube or VLC, so Microsoft only half-way got their wish, and it doesn't help Microsoft at all.
Even if Steve Jobs were still alive today, QuickTime would still suck.
iTunes does have security flaws. People should not be using it.
