some applications require features of windows 8/10 to work, like the virtual desktop app for example.

so? Linux has already had native virtual desktops way before that hacky solution came out. Their progress was stopped when oculus dropped linux support, but once valve gets their support going I could see the progress picking back up.

real shame the dickitry oculus is doing, considering that was real innovation they killed, not "Full screen a game engine and pretend its the desktop"
