They're not for those people. The boomers will die out eventually. Those kiosks are for Gen x and millennials and up.

It's the same tactic with the erosion of privacy. Eventually anyone that had any recollection of it will die out and lack of privacy will totally become the norm

I used one Saturday, it needs work and refinement. I'm Gen X and in IT, those things aren't ready for the masses.

Ahh but those generations are used to the constant betaware that is today's 'cloud' software.

Probably won't charge the correct amount to your card or dress your burger with the right toppings for another 5 years until it's all ironed out...only for it to be artificially outmoded and the process starts anew again with peoples smartphones taking the order next time around
