Some of them were used during the invasion of France, though usage against ground targets was stopped rather quickly as bombers were cheaper and had the same impact.
Three of the guns were later used to fire at ships on the English canal, which proved effective.
Interestingly, two of the cannons were later discovered in Italy. I am not sure why they were brought there.
Quite possible.
I wonder what happened to the rest of the cannons. 22 were built, eight were used in France and three at the canal. I have no idea what they did with the rest.
The K5 cannons used in France were also titled "Paris Gun". Which is a somewhat ambiguous name as it describes multiple different cannons.
The largest of the Paris Guns is unique and a very interesting construction. With an incredible effective range of 130km (81mi) it fired the projectile through the stratosphere, making its projectiles the first human-made objects to ever reach the stratosphere.

Maybe they were brought to Italy to help them defend?
