Being forced to step down as mod of the subreddit got me thinking about how much energy, time and money I've invested in Star Citizen over the years. It seems like now, with the consistent delays and obfuscations from CIG, and the lack of real progress on the game, there's very little to talk about. However I will still be pouring my heart into this fantasy because I have nothing better to do and nothing else going on in my life.
My question to you is, do you think you spend too much time/money/effort on Star Citizen? Do you wake up in the morning thinking about the game, buy a ship while you're brushing your teeth, and check the mail for your disability check so you can buy even more ships, every day? How much is too much, and have you ever felt like backing off a little while, checking back in 2017 for SQ42 and quietly slinking away when the game turns out not to be what you were hoping for?
