I wonder why established defense contractors seem content to sit on their hands watching SpaceX take contracts away from them. Anyone have a theory about this? For contrast, I get the strong impression that Tesla (and now Apple) routinely faces sabotage by mole-employees. I guess SpaceX's real competitor is Russia. Maybe the US defense contractors have their hands full with the US Space Command and USAF projects.
