I found this list very helpful. It gives both launches and the dates of probes arriving at their destination.

This is great and deserves upvoats from everyone, this is exactly what I was looking for. However we should still update this tracker. For example, I'm not a member of Space X so I'm just guessing, but the loss of their falcon 9 rocket might impact their contract to take a lunar rover up. Again Aroran thanks, this is a good jumping point but we can make it better.

I agree completely. I was actually just looking for something like this today and couldn't find anything useful.

I think we as a subverse might need to create something to address this need. Lets make some OC gang šŸ˜ƒ

I will post my updates as I make them to this thread, sadly I have to stop playing on the computer and go change some oil. Feel free to make updates to this list, even if you just post a comment for a mission to add I will update my tracker and repost. Its a community project that will make this subverse better so lets get cracking.

Mission Name/ Launch Date/ ETA/ Summary

Juno/ 5-Aug-11/ 6-Jul-16/ Jupiter: to study gravitational and magnetic fields

JWST/ Oct-18/ Oct-18/ James Webb Space Telescope, Hubble Telescope Replacement

OSIRIS-REx/ Sep-16/ Sep-23/ Asteroid Study and sample return of 101955 BennuĀ

Solar Probe +/ Jul-18/ Dec-24/ Probe to study the outerĀ coronaĀ of theĀ Sun

If we curate a list into xml format I'm sure someone will build a site with spiffy graphics to help us visualise our solar endeavours.

I will be on vacation this next week, but if it is not already done by the time I get back I will have an xml file made. It will be up to you to make that spiffy site.

I'll still look around for ones that detail when they are gong to meet there intended destination or objective but I did find this site on upcoming launches.

This is also a killer list. Good job, I just liked the layout of Aroran list better šŸ˜ but this has a lot more info and has done most of the heavy lifting for compilation purposes of diffrent mission we should track that might not have as much press coverage. Edited for better meaning.

Not sure if it's complete, but this Wikipedia article has some relevant info.

That shows when the missions were launched, but it lacks the status of the mission or the ETA. For example Juno was launched August 5, 2011 which the wiki captures, but it fails to reflect the July 06, 2016 ETA. I have done more digging today and I don't think it exist. I'm going to start working on putting a calander together but the progress is slow, and The info is hard to find. It would be cool if this subverse had a timer for the next major mission so we could all have something to look forward to, I'm tracking Juno as the next major mission but I have no way of knowing for sure.

I'd like to see that too.
