I'm looking forward to the bullpup version. My only gripe is they used the mka1919 magazine instead of a vepr mag.

Thanks for the heads up.

No! This is a tacifaged mka1919. Turkish trash. Jam machines.

Just looked up the mka1919. It does look eerily similar. And the street on it was around $650 to $700.

Thanks for the info.

not even close.

Standard Manufacturing's lead designer built this guy from the ground up, sans the magazine. It comes in two forms, the SKO, the 'tactifagged' firearm you see in the article, and the SKO-BULL, a bullpupped version.

Standard Manufacturing's DP12, though a silly meme gun, has reliability far exceeding the UTAS12 and the Kelltec KSG.

So, yes, the mka1919 is trash, and most of its turkish clones are as well, but the sko is looking to be a fantastic weapon.

I wonder if laws will make this shotgun illegal. Automatic shotguns already have a federal ban on civilian ownership in the US. Does anyone know the status of legislation on this matter?

I had 4 Vepr 12s and stupidly sold 2 thinking that was more than I needed. Now the price is going up, wish I'd kept them all.

There are a ton of US made Saiga/Vepr 12s, as well as clones and offshoots. The Origin 12 being one of them.

One of the neat things, with this Russian arms embargo, is that you have American manufacturers rolling out pistol braced "firearms".

Veprs are made in the Jcs vjatski poliany machine building plant in Kirov Russia.

Saigas are made in the izmash factory.

None are american made.

Ive been looking into the Chinese clones.
