Of course, we know that science has been heavily compromised by politics and big business. That's all the more reason to allow laypeople to have free access to peer-reviewed articles. I understand there's usually some scimed site out there which makes most articles available, but I've found the site unreliable sometimes, and you can't word search as well as with Ebsco Host and other publishers' and aggregators' sites.

We were able to access all these great studies for a few months— it spoiled me. This is horseshit, The studies were funded by us.

If you have or can get a university or school email address, you can likely get access, as well as some public libraries. But what kind of bullshit is that? And the schools pay for it
