I cant tell if you’re joking or not but the answer is yes. Quinine tonic water averages about 60 or 70 mg quinine per liter, so 6 or so liters would amount to a very low dose equivalent to about half the same quantity of hcq. The gin would not help you and would probably work against you.

i was joking when i wrote that but was hoping that quinine is quinine and that hydroxychloride was the preparation. no surprise there. i like your reply.

Quinine is indeed quinine. The research I did leads me to think that about 400 mg would be similar to a 200 mg dose of Hydroxychloroquine with similar side effects and drug interactions to HCQ and might make a difference if taken at the first sign of symptoms. Ordering 3 or 4 12pks might not be a bad idea.
