I hope this will echo back to her at some point of her academic career.

What a humble hope.

I, on the other hand, hope that after we win the coming hot civil war, we can END academia alltogether, and "echo back" at all of their academic "careers" by ending them too. The idea that people should get paid doing work nobody needs, which is what "publishing papers" is, must be ended. They all have to get real, useful jobs and work at their useless hobbies in their spare time.

Quite right, most academic work is total crap these days.

Read 'learn to write badly' by Billig. It's on language in the social sciences, but it includes a critique of the pressures to produce crappy research.

That's throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Most human progress would grind to a halt if the public stopped investing in hard sciences.
