perhaps a test subject for further cloning of more exotic animals aka dinosaurs

We would have to clone the dinosaurs that would of course not be deadly. I don't know where they could be put? Zoos maybe? Siberia has a lot of natural area to walk around, but Cold Climates for some of the friendlier dinosaur species would not work. Africa has the best climate, vegetation, and environment for dinosaurs, but the Africans would probably hunt them and kill them for food.

Most of the formerly "developed" world in ancient times, from the Middle-East/South-Asia to even parts of Latin America are pretty messed up from their original form. I think the best place to put Dinosaurs would be on some isolated island somewhere and even then being allowed to roam around from one vegetation patch to the next would be very helpful for them to survive for a longer time.

You also have to worry about reproduction issues too and them overpopulating and then getting too close to Urban civilization. That is why Zoos are the best.

We could solve the second point if we ignored the first.
