You need to take D with Magnesium.

Also D by definition is not a vitamin since it is made by the body. It is better described as a hormone produced by the skin.

[–] Sharmouta 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

Correct. One more thing: Watch out if you take any calcium supplements or calcium carbonate (Tums/Rollaids/etc). Vitamin D makes your body absorb calcium much more efficiently and can cause Hypercalcemia which makes it hard for the body to carry out its normal functions to include heart failure.

[–] neogag 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

Magnesium reduces that and Vitamin K2 can eliminate that problem, although you should not be supplementing calcium in general.

Only take the exact TOTAL min rda and beware poison added to most calcium pills, they have sneaky vitamin d at wrong proportions.

I've for years been a proponent of proper nutrition being a way of dealing with numerous issues normally dealt with by medicating or other extreme methods. I used to have a fairly high level of anxiety and it would eventually culminate into a short lived panic attack every once in awhile. I then for other reasons started drinking a cold pressed vegetable juice from a local store and after a week I felt way better in numerous ways. I then moved over to similar supplements due to being just as effective and much cheaper. I have not had any significant anxiety nor a panic attack in years.

To me it just makes sense that your mentality can easily be effected by a lack of proper nutrition. If your body doesn't have what it needs to function you are going to feel worse and your mindset will suffer along with the way you act.

[–] user1212 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

What do you take?

[–] Itsdone63 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

Juice plus. I had a gf at the time that got into the pyramid scheme while I was experimenting with this type of thing and she got me to be her first customer with blow jobs. I've seen the detractors and I've done my own experiments where I took other things while still taking it to see if I felt any different and I felt the same so it's one of those if it aint broke don't fix it things.

Or you could just be experiencing a placebo effect from basic self care.

[–] Itsdone63 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

So self care doesn't improve quality of life, mentality or mindset?

ITT, no one who read the article. Er, blog entry.

I read it and concluded that he is making unfounded conclusions

Why do you say that?

Fuck (((Yuval)))

[–] ZYX321 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

I agree.

[–] LostandFound 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

Agree, not only that but he is pissing 95% of his vit D down the jax. Slow increments have best performance a once per week solution is not going to help.

[–] goblin_ghost 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

I saw the (((Levental))) and figured he was proba ly full of shit.

(((Yuval))

smh.

[–] Tom_Spanx 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

This is just a blog entry. His reasoning isn't exactly "scientific", either...

Until recently, I assumed that the main cause of my autism was excessive muscle tension around my forehead and nose

[–] thisistotallynotme 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

Protip: if you're in ketosis, your body is producing sufficient vitamin D.

It seems that most of our body's healing functions are tied to starvation. Fasting (with two teaspoons each of sodium and potassium/salt substitute per 1L of distilled water) has been just as effective as a stem cell treatment in Panama (I had both).

Mind if I ask what you were treated for?
