It's been shown that patients who fast have better outcomes on chemo drugs- up to a point. Obviously you don't want to starve to death.

There are some studies also showing that periods of fasting can regenerate stem cells and rebuild the immune system.

Right, I caught that MIT study. A doc named Peter Attia talked about how fasting programs your cells to make themselves into energy, or something like that, so that your whole body can still survive with thier sacrifice. I wonder if it has a similar affect on cancer cells?
