Old news. It's been known about for a few years now. We have the same protein but not in sufficient quantities. The reason we don't have it is because it causes a fundamental breakdown in the eye structures.

We can, however, see certain amounts and states of polarization in light which we cannot photograph.

Pretty sure I've activated those and other proteins while on shrooms.

This explains some things.

I like how that sounds. Any tips that u can share?

breakdown in the eye structures.

Thus ending my biohacking dream (not really).

Embedded magnets will give you sensations. You can detected electromagnetic fields. You can feel a hard drive spin up, for example.

i think i have seen this on lamp lights and such

If we eat more bird eyes will we be able to see it too?

You're obviously the only one here who knows how superheroes are made.

Birds aren't the only ones of course. Sharks and bees too. Probably all migratory animals use magnetic sensory. This was explored over two years ago by the scientists involved with the electric universe and I first posted about it here in /v/plasmacosmology.

Love the web 2.0 of the electric universe.

This is very interesting!

Thanks for posting this!

I agree

If they are looking at the magnetic fields no wonder they crash into stuff all the times. Dumbass bird brains.

When can I inject this protein into my eyes?

[–] tanukihat 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

Pretty soon, transhumanism is right around the corner.

[–] WhereTheAngelsPlay 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

You serious? What kind of benefits we could have from it?

[–] BlackSheepBrouhaha 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

Is that how they turn a hot dog into a hot pocket?

[–] ToFat2Fish 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

I want! Somebody quick put some proteins in my eye.

[–] BlackSheepBrouhaha 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

I've got some proteins for your eye, but it may sting.

[–] ToFat2Fish 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

No pain no gain. You can come over after 3, my mom can give you a ride if you needed. If you want you can stay for tendies and play some vidya after.

I am going to bet Michelle Starr (the author) has no idea what she is talking about.

But movies taught me that female scientists are always extra smart!

[–] AutumnAngel 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

I found that out in every commercial and every sitcom.

[–] themaestro777 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

I agree, just junk science

[–] Karl_Von_Dibble 2 points 1 points (+3|-2) ago

Looking to bulk up? Eat bird eyes!
