So you're saying that it's going to be a... dark age...

You say it as if it's funny. The children of the next generation won't be laughing.

Good. People need to know loss to be able to appreciate what they have.

I did not struggle through the academy as a Black girl from a marginalized socio-economic background just to teach white people that Black peoples are human.

Here's a little more info on Ms. Malone:

Cynthia Malone is the previous Pacific Programs Manager at the Center for Biodiversity and Conservation (CBC). She holds a B.S. in Anthropology and Zoology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she completed an undergraduate honors thesis on orangutan ecology in a degraded forest in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. Her work at CBC thus far has primarily focused on the “Enhancing Diversity in Conservation Science Initiative”, assisting in the development of workshops for the Student Conference on Conservation Science and also for *Society of Conservation Biology conferences. This position has allowed her to find voice for a long-standing passion in creating a more diverse conservation community. In addition to her work with CBC, Cynthia is currently a Masters student in Conservation Biology at Columbia University, where she is conducting her thesis on the impacts of industrial agriculture on human-wildlife conflict in Cameroon. Her most recent work on AMNH’s “Our Global Kitchen” exhibition website has fostered a growing research interest in sustainable food systems.

Notice the focus on Africa, Diversity in Science, creating a more diverse conservation community - this is all code for "I'm not a real fucking scientist. I'm a black scientist, so everything I do is about being black and Africa, just like virtually every other black person who goes to college."

She says she didn't "struggle" through the academy to teach white people about black people? Well, what was the purpose of all her blackness and Africa activities? Was it just to teach other blacks about their blackness?

Every time you look a little deeper into one of these people something like this turns up. They're frauds, who aren't real scientists at all, because real scientists are interested in science, not their fucking blackness.

Most black intellectuals are only experts in the field of Being Black.

Nigger Studies are always fake. These blacks can't handle real science, so they go into the "soft" sciences, and ever there they are helped and coddled along like mentally-damaged children.

She should be a fun one to have around the lab. A sure hit with white co-workers.

My crystal ball says she sues an employer within 5 years and lives off the settlement.

We are well on our way to a new Dark Age in which we actually go backwards in science, and regress to a lower level of technology. The signs are everywhere. Little things, such as in increase in unpaved roads across the nation, the inability of NASA to send anyone back to the Moon, the lack of a new supersonic passenger jet, the lack of new nuclear power plants in America, the corruption of science journals, the deliberate falsification of research data, the intimidation and harassment of scientists who point out obvious untruths that are upheld in the media. I could name a hundred different things.

Individually, these things mean little, but taken together they form a pattern. Racist prejudice against whites and affirmative action hiring of non-whites, particularly blacks and Hispanics, has degraded everything in America. Blacks and Hispanics, as groups, are not as competent as whites, as a group. That's the reality. They are also not as honest, and have less of a work ethic. Put it all together, and there is only one conclusion -- a new Dark Age approaches.

Well good, wouldn't want you teaching people things that aren't true

The Future of Science Is Black - Motherboard

'Radical science is key to understanding how calling us, Black peoples, monkeys makes no scientific sense. '

'What would science look like if Black peoples’ worldviews were genuinely, consistently valued in knowledge production processes that generate theories and frameworks for inquiry?'

'Black scientists invested in doing science differently must build community with Black activists, who have honed the art of organized disruption, unapologetically declaring that “Black Lives Matter” as we reclaim our rightful place in scientific history. '

'I did not struggle through the academy as a Black girl from a marginalized socio-economic background just to teach white people that Black peoples are human. '
