I'm not taking sides on this issue (I don't play video games anymore), but I wonder about the design of the experiment, validity of results and especially who funded the research.

Media only influences people if they think it's real. Like the news. Entertainment media doesn't influence people but people have influence over what media they take in for fun. In other words,they're saying violent media makes violent people. The truth is,violent people choose violent media.

Total bullshit. Of course there is a link. The violence in the media is one of the drivers for violence on the streets.

Since the real problem with videogames is photosensitive epilepsy, studying something abstract like violence keeps the industry safe from litigation.
