Because none is taking any notice of LENR. All everyone does is tell us ITER fusion is on the way, its been on the way for 60 odd years and is still 20 years away. The standard model is broken forever, but still physicists continue to use despite knowing its unworkable. The government pays them to do this, huge sums of money.
