I just had a long conversation with my son’s teacher, principal, school psychologist (wtf?) and two other women (they’re all women). I asked them how many methodologies they were imparting to students for basic mathematics. The answer? “Oh, at least 4 or 5.” And this is for fourth graders. Excuse me, what?

I was polite but I told them flat out that my son (and inferred all boys) would learn better with one. Their eyes lit up like I was shining the light of reason and they all agreed that might just work. There was more to the conversation, obviously, but that was the crux.

Girls / women (for the most part) focus on how to do things. Boys / men (for the most part) focus on results. This is why common core teaching appeals to women so much. It’s all methodology with very little focus on results. Like it or not, men and women think very differently. And women are too sensitive to recognize this.

Females are running everything these days. Go to any government office, post office, office office, etc.

It is fucking madness out there. I home school my boys.

Common Core is there to fuck with everyone's learning that isn't a nigger (because niggers are incapable of learning) and drop their grades as a result so the coons look a little better in comparison.

Common core is designed such that memorization isn’t required - cause niggers and females typically have trouble with memorization. Well, for math, once you memorize your 0-20 addition and multiplication facts, everything else is easy. But nooooo....

The psychologist was there as a potential eyewitness weapon in case they decided to report you to child services. That's how dangerous schools are. Be careful.

I know. And I was. Thanks though. Good warning for everyone.

When they only teach one method and the kids don't get it people complain why they didn't teach them the other methods. Some kids are just slower than others. You can't fix that with teaching style. Tutor him at home, or pay for a tutoring class. Don't let your only action be trying to find someone to blame.

That's not true, just because one extreme is stupid, it doesn't make the opposite correct.

People definitely have different strengths and weaknesses as individuals and you get a lot further working with their strengths than just trying to beat them into submission to your ideal, but just like anything else it can be taken to extremes where it becomes counterproductive. It's the difference between practicality and ideology. Doing something because you see it working or because you think it's "THE TRUTH!".
