I am not going to watch a video but the answer is almost certainly yes.
Stars are pretty much element factories. They take bits of matter and smash them together. Different stars will smash together different elements. These elements are eventually going to be emitted from the stars. It's a very long process.
Our star doesn't make gold. It's not big enough.im too lazy to look it up, but 10 to 12 su stars will make gold, as I recall. Stuff bigger than that, or with more pressure, can alsom smash matter together and create gold.
So, after these two stars smashed together, they sent a whole lot of gold out into space.
