There is no such thing as a stable ecosystem. The ecosystem is constantly changing just from natural causes, so to say man made causes is inherently bad is a misleading and manipulative argument. 10,000 years ago we were in an Ice Age. Go back 65 Million years ago and we had an asteroid which completely fucked everything up. Go back farther than that we had a planet which was much hotter than any man caused climate change predictions. Go back farther than that and we had a planet completely covered in ice. Assuming the ecosystem needs to be preserved "in a stable form" is short sighted and disregards the ability for life to adapt to changing situations.
This is why I say "Don't worry about climate change". It happens. It will probably be OK if it does. But, on both sides of the argument, advocates and opponents are acting as if a long term "problem" is a short term "problem". If those who want to worry about climate change on the short term, they need to stop focusing on climate change, because it's not a short term problem. They need to address related problems that are immediate. Like smog, acidification of rivers, lakes, and oceans. These are problems we have now and if we address those problems now, climate change will probably never even be an issue.
