It's not ignored. We have iodized salt for a reason. You assert that it is ignored in spite of the self-evident facts and haven't qualified it. Furthermore, while iodine deficiency does result in a depressed immune response, so do many other deficiencies of necessary nutrients. This is because iodine only interacts with our immune system indirectly via the thyroid, and prolonged deficiency causes very obvious hypothyroidism.

Ah hah, caught the shill, you are weird, a human system requires much much much more than 150mcg iodine daily, I don't owe you an explanation. You are either stupid or retarded or greedy or clueless or a combination of these factors,
