What is your point, you made a statement yet you won't clarify it when asked.
If you are suggesting that herpes virus in pregnant mothers causes autism in children is correct, then you are wrong, as an existence of iodine deficiency allows for a herpes virus to thrive, while an existence of iodine deficiency is the cause of autism, coincidentally iodine deficiency is the root cause of both conditions, it is a fallacy to suggest herpes causes autism.
Why would you not find it fascinating that iodine a potent antiviral and a necessary human nutrient, that destroys a herpes virus and all other viruses, is largely ignored by the medical community? Why would you not find it fascinating that iodine, which is the root cause of cretinism autism senility, is largely ignored by the medical community?
It's not ignored. We have iodized salt for a reason. You assert that it is ignored in spite of the self-evident facts and haven't qualified it. Furthermore, while iodine deficiency does result in a depressed immune response, so do many other deficiencies of necessary nutrients. This is because iodine only interacts with our immune system indirectly via the thyroid, and prolonged deficiency causes very obvious hypothyroidism.

Ah hah, caught the shill, you are weird, a human system requires much much much more than 150mcg iodine daily, I don't owe you an explanation. You are either stupid or retarded or greedy or clueless or a combination of these factors,
