Isnt iodine usually added to salt, which people consume in large quantities?

BGAIN does seem single-minded when it comes to this topic however if you spend some time looking at the information available it is hard not to be seriously impacted by how f'ed up it all is. Just because we don't see rickets regularly (there has been some increased cases lately though) doesn't mean we're not suffering from this deliberate attempt.

Is it a conspiracy, that iodine is antiviral antibacterial antimocrobrial antifungal while also being a necessary human element?

It is added to table salt however there is no standard amount for it to be considered "iodized", batches are often uneven and the form of iodine in table salt not only isn't the easiest for our bodies to absorb but it also evaporates with time/air/humidity. So if you've had that container of salt for awhile, chances are good there isn't much benefit. More important is that lighter elements like Bromine, Chlorine and Flourine are more easily taken up by the body and are in a LOT of our foods etc. I've spent a good deal of time looking at the scant information available and it paints a bleak picture. Iodine appears to be extremely important for a number of our bodies systems. It appears that other animals are also susceptible to taking in lighter elements over the Iodine so our best best is supplementation and sea vegetables in the diet.

You are making 3 logical fallacies in one sentence?
