No. I don't think it is possible for me to despise that belief system any more than I already do.

No, my position on Islam is about the same. But my opinion of Muslim ass-kissers is lowered a little more.

Solidified, maybe reinforced. My perception of Islam is about the same as it was.

The religion in and of itself as the Quran/Koran... teaches appears to generate, venerate, engender and promote violence and hate towards anyone that is not also a Muslim, or even... a particular 'kind' of Muslim.

Only to prove to myself further that Islam is not the "religion of peace". It is a cult, not a religion, a cult. There is no such group of "moderates". There is only extreme and less extreme. These cultists have and will use the libtards to shove this cult down the throats of us who actually believe in something that is peaceful and not genocide. The terrorist attacks from Islam is the modern day crusades.

That is my mini rant of the day.

Personally speaking, I know enough nice people who happen to have been born as Muslims, so I can't hate the religion in the same way I don't hate Christianity. I dislike some of the practices and individuals and management of both, I dislike some attitudes and approaches more in Islam and feel it's behind in terms of modernity in many ways and I don't believe it, but I don't "hate" them, I feel extremely frustrated by the inability to change.

Can I submit this for those of you who might be interested. Slavoj Žižek On The Refugee Crisis, Islam and Multiculturalism. I found it very informative in terms of the ethical, political and cultural implications of the various societies involved.

An interesting talk, but he is a Marxist and they are not people who's ideology you want to follow. Trust me on this one.

The problem I find with rejecting Marxism is it's never really existed in the form intended as it has always been a vehicle used for greed and control. His appreciation of Marxism is in relation to a broader framework of belief systems and principles, it's just the practice that doesn't work as he freely admits. The concept is one to which we might well eventually aspire though and it is that better nature to which he hopes we aspire in that sense. He is a Marxist in that way, despite living through a most obscene bastardisation of it. I can appreciate a man who sees the value in a notion despite having seen it's worse nature. I don't think for a second he sees Marxism as the answer, and he talks about this in another video at some length about a mixture of approaches being needed, he not that simplistic and naive as to think Marxism is the ultimate answer, but it is a good framework if man meets the challenge to be less selfish.

Careful with the language "born muslim." I don't think babies are born believing much.

So do you look favourably upon Islam or more pity its followers?

I don't think an intelligent person can honestly consider islam a friendly religion. In a heavily moderate form it could be - just as Christianity is. In its current intolerant shape - it must be wiped.
