No it's not, not if you study the life of Muhammad (sa). These so-called 'jihadis' aren't representing the true teachings of Islam at all. The UK media reported that several of them had purchased 'Islam for Dummies' on Amazon before travelling to Syria to fight for ISIS. They don't even know the ABC of Islam, if they did and they truly cared about it they wouldn't act in the way they do. :)

Muslims of any way shape or form do not have a monopoly on what is the true teaching. Answer this question: What is Islam at it's core.
