Jesus taught to turn the other cheek when you are wronged. He taught to love each other as we love ourselves. He taught us to be patient and kind. Christianity and Islam are polar opposites in their content.
OK. Apart from the fact Jesus did say he came to bring a sword, how would a Christian respond to the following situation:
A country (lets call it ISIS - who I condemn and believe are totally unIslamic, despite their name) decide they are so intolerant they want to wipe out all Christians, rape their women and commit total genocide.
How as a good Christian will you respond? Will you turn the other cheek and let them get on with it, hand over your wives, daughters, mothers and your throats? Or will you allow self defence?
Islam permits self-defence. Any moral philosophy has to otherwise all the good people would immediately be wiped out by the genocidal maniacs (Hitler, ISIS etc) and no good person could ever survive.
I don't need a YouTube video to know that Christianity and Islam create two very different and oposite mindsets in their adherents. One is very positive and creates civilized societies and the other destroys society and brings chaos. If you disagree that's fine but don't go linking me YouTube videos as primary sources for your argument.

Christ also taught that "he who lives by the sword, shall die by the sword."
As Christians, we have been very reluctant to put away our swords. Is it not surprising that we should then die by the sword?

Self defense is explicitly allowed biblically.
