For some context, the the beast relates to countries and states associated with Christianity: England, U.S., Russia, and Germany (Leopard tank). The beast relates to military power as empire.

The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.

Daniel 7:4

Being unable to buy and sell is related to excommunication.

From sabbathcovenant.com:

observes Bishop Newton,

"dissent from the stated and authorized forms (of Christianity); they are condemned and excommunicated as heretics; and in consequence of that they are no longer suffered to buy or sell; they are interdicted from traffic and commerce, and all the benefits of civil society.

Roger Hoveden relates of William the Conqueror,

that he was so dutiful to the pope that he would not permit any one in his power to buy or sell any thing whom he found disobedient to the apostolic see (The Pope).

The canon of the council of Lateran, under Pope Alexander III.,

made against the Waldenses and Albigenses, enjoins, upon pain of anathema, that no man presume to entertain or cherish them in his house or land, or exercise traffic with them (that do not follow Papal authority).

The synod of Tours, in France, under the same pope, orders,

“under the like intermination, that no man should presume to receive or assist them, no, not so much as hold any communion with them, in selling or buying; that, being deprived of the comfort of humanity they may be compelled to repent of the error of their way."

It was ordered by a bull of Pope Martin the Fifth,

“that no contract should be made with such, and that they should not follow any business and merchandise: save he that had the mark; took the oath to be true to the pope, or made a public profession of the Popish religion: or the name of the beast; Papists, so called from the pope”

"The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings {{I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.}}" That is Babylon under Nebuchadnezzar {the golden head} their symbol a "winged lion". {{this is what happened to Nebuchadnezzer wings plucked = lost mind and kingship for a while lived as beast till he was humbled}}

The ten horns synonymous to the ten toes in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. The feet of clay and iron the Anglo-American/British Empire. Is where we are at empire wise.

Revelations {first beast} is a composite of Daniels beasts ... one is missing ... but stirring. Will it be reborn or be absorbed...

As for the mark what I figure ... IMO it will be the storage of digital "wealth", pointer to medical/criminal records, possibly tracking device and anti-tamper kill switch. A mark is usually in context with slavery or ownership {like a brand} while a seal is in context of being untampered and genuine {Genetically as well don't tamper}.

RCC is definitely part of Babylon ...

Yes, I think iron represents civil society inherited from the Roman Empire and clay represents immigrants who keep their separate culture.

The mark seems to be a variation on teffelin, i.e. allegiance to a different deity or idol.

And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that YHWH's law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath YHWH brought thee out of Egypt. Exodus 13:9
