All of western "atheism" culture is just post-christianity. Core thought patterns have been retained but the richness and depth of the religion is gone. This why western atheists are obsessed with questions of truth regarding whether there's a god or not. It's clearly a pursuit of Plato's thinking, except with inverted values that lead most westerners to becoming degenerate nihilists.

This habit might be due to being raised in a religious household, or frequent interaction with religious family members (e.g. mother, grandmother, aunt, etc.)
