I will be super pissed if he loses. I'm aware of issues with women's rights... But men's rights issues need attention too.

I literally just wrote to Bernie Sanders like a week ago about exactly this kind of thing(among many other men's rights issues that need national attention and change). I doubt he will ever see it but we need to talk to the press, our peers over social media and IRL, and our government representatives about these issues.

If we don't show that these are problems that we care about and that need to change, how is anything going to get any better?

I think this is more a citizens rights issue rather than women's/men's. Both parties have said that they don't want this, so neither wants to go to court - yet the administration is forcing the issue:

“Angie at one point called the department of child services and said, ‘You shouldn’t be asking this guy for child support. I’m the other parent,’ and they literally truly told her, this is none of your business, go away,” Marotta said.

That's screwed up, but I still think this is a gender issue and yes, a civil rights issue. That's fair. Family courts are often biased against men. Actually, so are criminal courts. Hmmm... But yeah. Alimony always goes to the gal, regardless of pay. It's super hard for the guy to get custody of his kid if the mom wants it. He has no say on the abortion thing(as he shouldn't) and this isn't the first case I have heard of where the state tried to make the sperm donor pay child support.

I can't remember if the others were successful but the idea that the father is better suited to parent than the lesbian mother is based off of outdated ideals on how a man should be and what a family was. He's second to the mother in most family courts, but still above the lesbian other mother. I get what you're saying... This state court is completely out of line.
