This is coming to america (and the rest of the west) soon. they have already started making the use of vpns, tor, encryption, and encrypted email, count as probable cause. The sad part is that this is one area where trump and the establishment agree, so it is only a matter of time.

Something which they don't enforce. Loads of people use VPNs over there 24/7 (myself included) without any issues.
