I found a mint one in 80s woodland camo at a flea market for $20 w/ liner. Bombed it with nikwax and it's good in wet as well as warm. These things are durable, comfortable, and superb outdoor gear. Looked at the modern repros and the US -ade ones seem as good as issue.

Mine is a modern repro, and it's held up for a couple years use, along with doubling as a bed for my Maine Coon. I expect a few more years out of it.

Used to love hitting surplus stores when I was younger. Rode my bike over to one in the late 70's and they had literal pallet loads of M65's in OD. Must have been when they changed to woodland camo. They were something crazy like $4 apiece.

I've been wearing one for over 15 years, and it was older than shit when I got it. Velcro came off the wrist cuff and I pulled the waist drawstring out on accident. Other than that, solid and dependable.

Heh, I hate the drawstring on mine, but can never quite bring myself to remove it. I probably should, but I leave it there in case I need emergency cordage.

You don't know what you got til it's gone. I wish mine was I'm there, would've helped on some fuck you cold nights I spent outdoors.
