I've redacted the engineer's plan both for privacy but also because I don't want the dude coming after me. I'm sure someone could make up something. The photo of the roof is just of the roof for obvious reasons. I know I'm not unlucky enough to have you folks near me so I know you won't track me down by my roof but a full frontal house shot? Yeah, it can be done. So, no. Just the roof.
Panel before being installed Yeah, there's a dude hiding behind it.

The battery link has some kind of lame 40 minute video. You've been warned. Also, battery panel weighs 214 pounds. Also, direct link to battery data sheet. I was also wrong about the warranty. I previously said 7 years. It's 10 years. If only I could put this in my cell phone...

New panel, power from solar and battery
Old panel, new panel, and an "I don't know solar thingy"
Before we get into the charts, it's important to know that sometimes the cloud servers which collect the data just icks out and doesn't record or display what it should. It's on my "todo list" to write my own interface.

One of the MANY info screens on the solar monitoring unit It reads that my solar output is 0 because it's nighttime.
Breakdown of each panel's lifetime output
I can view an hourly playback of each panel's output
There's a LOT more of the monitoring system that I can't even get into. It would take me a while to document it. But if you look back at the solar monitoring image, at the very top, you'll see a metal "pole". That's a cellular antenna. While this model has permanent cellular connectivity, I could instead connect it to my wireless or run an ethernet cable to my network. And yes, the company does run updates out over the cellular data plan but I can also download and install them via SD card myself if I want.
