It's the back end of a dually truck with a reading equipment box on it. I am building it to sell either for Burning Man or for a contractor who wants to set up an out post. The duallys mean even if it is heavily loaded it doesn't get stuck in sand.
I have two more panels for the solar, but haven't worked out how to mount the awning they will fit to. Not a lot of power but enough for a laptop/cell link, some cameras and a water pump.
The whole thing has a 50/50 bias so that when unloaded it can be lifted up off the hitch with one hand and the motorcycle can drive out of the back. The camper shell is attached only to the pressure treated posts and they can be unbolted and the entire camper shell including solar panels can sit on the ground.
The panels are only attached to the shell on the back door. In the front they fold In to the interior of the trailer when it needs to go highway speeds. On the back the doors zipper shut and it mantaines an aerodynamic profile. (The trailer itself is a brick though)
Certain features of the trailer are for the buyer only. The left side is for food and water and cooking. The right side of the utility lockers are all tools and road gear.
Edit: fucking imgur doesn't have a rotate feature and apparently the phone auto rotates. I'm not going to experiment. I may re-post as the project comes along further. Right now it will go down the road legally and I am using it for my tools. Also I like to take naps out there.
