Given the state of politics in today's world I am amazed that people even bother to get involved and go to the polls and vote. Perhaps times are indeed changing, the electorate is perhaps becoming more empowered and informed through the advent of social media sites and the internet at large. From my perspective it has certainly given me cause for pause. I recognize that no Politician is perfect in their daily/personal life, so to somehow all of a sudden expect them to manifest and project this super human like projection of perfection is utterly absurd and frankly is where we "The People" make the biggest mistake. They are not allowed to be flawed and is measured in such high esteem and standards that we dam well know we ourselves could not possibly live up to. There in lie the deep hypocrisy?
What iv'e learn to do as iv'e come to realize certain cold hard facts, is to look at a politician eyes wide open, I measure the things that I perceive as being absolutely paramount, and if he or she conveys these beliefs and holds them true and dear in their pursuit of office, then the rest of what they project that may not necessarily fit my personal; mold I can live with. In the end it's like anything else "A series of compromises" Believing or allowing oneself to believe or accept that the "PERFECT" candidate exist is like a kid staying awake at night hoping to get a brief glimpse of the tooth fairy.
Politics is a dirty filthy blood sport, a social club of sort for the elite?, at least this is a view held by many. Most if not all of them are seen as over ambitious self indulgent egotistical self aggrandizing manics who has no real intent of holding themselves to the empty promises they spew during a campaign to solicit votes. They are a bunch of talking heads for the most, fill with hot air, perhaps they are as a result of the hot air the blow major contributors to their illusive Climate change/Global warming. If there really is Global warming taking place perhaps we ought to seriously consider gagging most if not all politicians from blowing hot air.
Now to the current Political field that exist for the Twenty Sixteen race to the white house. This is probably one of the saddest field of contestants vying for the office we've yet to behold in ages. Now by saying this i'm not using a comparative of sorts, but rather an overview of what the American people have to select from based on what's being said, what's being offered, who's being offered, and the stakes at hand.
There's Hillary of course the life long Democrat, Extreme or confused Liberal/Socialist? She talks about all the things she would like to do, all the things that are wrong, all the problems to be solved, hmm now this is interesting, for she has been a part of all the things she's wanting to fix and champion the cause for now, for the last 8 Eight Years under the one Barrack Obama. Then there's Bernie, good old (literally) Mr. Sanders. To call him an extreme Liberal and Socialist really cannot begin to suggest what he really is, a man who talks about implementing policies that would Break even the Bank of china, need I say more. Ah.. The GOP. phew. What a mess that is. Here comes Donald J. seemingly out of no where turning the political world upside down, pundits and blabbing commentators/reporters/media left scratching their heads trying to figure this out. Funny thing is, there's really nothing to figure, the man is simply cut from a different cloth and reads from his own hand book and plays by the rules that only exist in his head. In layman's term, he does not gives a crap about you (the critics, the pundits) and what you have to say, to him you are utterly useless and a waste of time and does not exist in his world, get over it. Alas this is why he's seen as a breath of fresh air, he's not your puppet who's strings you can pull. (case closed). Then their's John Kasich; this will be brief, the man is basically a Democrat running as a republican.. that was easy.. Ah. Ted Cruz; An ambitious son of a bitch (and I mean that affectionately). The only one in the field with any sense of rational, lives in a real time world with real and realistic ideas. A man that actually speaks English with a sense of conviction and conveyance of clarity and fact. I'm not about to rant and rave about Cruz, i'm not writing this in a manner that suggest i'm a supporter, it may seem that way, and if it does, I apologize, but in comparison to the choices before the American people, when put in context, can you write about Cruz any other way?
Now the thing that the American people needs to keep in mind about the American Political system of Government, are its different Branches of checks and balances IE; The Legislative Branch, The Executive Branch, and the Judicial branch. Inspite of what a Politician believes personally as it relates to his religious moral and ethical beliefs, these beliefs does not translate automatically in to laws and regulations if he or she becomes President and or is elected to any office for that matter. None of the branches listed above can be usurped. Alas logic must prevail when selecting a candidate with slightly differing perspective and views. This is the Beauty of the American system and its Constitution.
No politician is perfect, and the end result will always be a Compromise....

There is too much compromise. It has created a cycle of endless corruption, revolving door between government and lobbyists. The system is so corrupted, the democrats and republicans have colluded to divide the country and double dip from the people, while they do it. They cant fix anything, they have no interest in disruption of the balance of power.
