"I was relentless, even in the face of the total lack of encouragement, because much more often than you’d think, sheer persistence is the difference between success and failure." - Donald Trump, The Art of the Deal

This is not an attitude I want close to the button. It's just a bad policy, especially when you are fighting an asymmetric war against a guerilla force. Vietnam on a global scale.

Edit: assuming he has this view generally, which seems likely.

Everyone is too busy staring at his hair to notice that Trump carries a big stick....

"Speak softly and carry a big stick" is all about not threatening people, but having the means to defend yourself. Trump is just threatening people.

Yes. I think he is referring when someone hits him with words that he will hit back. Or hitting back people and countries who don't keep their promises. I fairly certain that he isn't talking about physically hitting.

There is also "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me." We can't let people or countries stab us in the eye and do nothing at all, can we?

Once again, they try to hold Donald Trump to a higher standard, and fail miserably. And that's why he wins, because the establishment looks bad when they try and fail to make him look bad.

Presidential? His current competition is Lyin' Ratfucker "I might've slept with a bunch of prostitutes" Ted. (don't care if it's not true, it's about perceptions) The current story is that the Democrat candidate will be the one Mrs. "FBI suspect" who's married to a guy sleazier than Glenn Quagmire. (giggity)

They're both huge liars, and very untrustworthy. Neither one is presidential. It's a much, much lower bar than the media is trying to hold Trump to. Which is why the media has a problem with misrepresenting the truth. (or as they say a "credibility" problem)

You make good points Sir but I still don't trust Trump as a military commander.

Ah yes, those are truly the words of a skilled diplomat. Jesus christ people. Can you get it through your skull that this is not how a leader should act?

Most are sick and tired of the pandering to SJWs and the regressives. How they assault those of different opinions and play the victim at every opportunity. These people can't be reasoned with as they see the world through identity politics filled lenses. It's time we started to stand up to them and their false narrative. This is what Trump represents to many people.

I didn't take Tb0n3's criticism to be that Trump's view is politically incorrect. He seems to be suggesting that it is politically ignorant. It reminds me of the old saying, "when the only tool you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail."

I also like how an actual con-man can make all the other candidates look so dishonest.

Being sorry/worried about whether speech is completely politically correct or not is why we are in our current state of civil unrest. He seems honest and a true patriot. At least from what I've seen.

politically correct

No, I'm saying nothing about it not being PC like we think of it, I'm thinking of it not being language that will "make america great again".

I see the pussy liberals are out in force, trying to take the Donald down a peg or two with their reddit-like pseudo-wisdom. Yet more far-left mouth-breathers we have to deal with.

You can always tell when reddit's fucked something up, because these whiny little bitches show up and start the same dull horseshit they practiced on that other site, thinking that somehow their moronic 'observations' will get them lauded as heroes. Time to break out the cluestick once more....
