My opinion on Mumia is probably not a popular one in many circles, but I sure as hell don't agree with attempts to silence free speech. Also, anyone else find it ironic this was essentially an attempt by the right at using trigger warnings to bar dissent? Online, it feels like such a far left form of discourse manipulation, but in this case the law's goal was to prevent re-victimization of those traumatized by crimes. This is probably worth remembering for anyone arguing with your typical "safe spaces and trigger warnings" nutjob as a completely opposite political viewpoint with the same dirty tactics applied solely for that viewpoint's interest. This "free speech until mah feelings" shit is getting really tiring, and it's hilarious that the left pulls the "moral majority" in reverse with a fuckton of rationalization to pretend it's any different.

I know we've heard about this ruling here, but this article definitely adds information.
