I have to be honest with you all. I am a huge Sanders supporter. But I may vote for Trump on Tuesday just to say FUCK YOU NIGGERS.

The absolute worst thing anyone can do in my book is to stop someone from speaking.

It should be noted that not all the protesters were black, or Bernie supporters, and many of them were simply there protesting peacefully. It is unfair to hold a candidate accountable for the follies of his supporters unless he has encouraged them to do such things. As far as I know, none of the political candidates have done such a thing.

I think the people who do this kind of stuff are incredibly dumb, passionate fools overcome by mob mentality. What they stand for could very well be right and righteous, but the way they've gone about it tarnishes their message and is destructive to democracy as a whole.

I don't like Trump. I think he's a vile man. That said, I would never take away his freedom to speak. That would be wrong.

A lot of people messed up tonight. No doubt it will only strengthen Trumps campaign.

I support free speech and protest. I used to have friends who were out all the time protesting for causes I did not support. I still encouraged them though.

I noticed some of the claims of "free speech" going around. These are misguided. Donald Trump has plenty of free speech. He's on the TV all the time. He has the money to buy these arenas. The free speech situation is grossly out of balance. Protesters should be respected -- not dissed just because someone agrees with the other side this time. These people who apparently shut down this one rally are never going to get the kind of free speech that Donald and the TV media enjoy. Perspective please.

And the charges of violence -- on both sides -- are way out there too.

And this coming from someone who prefers Trump over the other Republican candidates. I'm not all worried about poor Trump losing his chance to speak and win over a few more voters. I am more concerned about the media using this event to discredit Trump, and to discredit Bernie for that matter.

And where would that leave us all? With two pure establishment candidates. :)

I'm far from being a Sanders supporter, but it's really disappointing to see how heavily you're bieng downvoted for saying that Sanders didn't mastermind what happened.

Except the veterans won't take control because no one gives a shit about them and they're dying while waiting in VA hospitals or killing themselves.

From the Chicago police scanner over the last hour:

"Emergency call we have protestors attacking police"

"Protestors jumping the walls into the parking garage attacking cars with bats and hammers"

"We have two shot, in persuit of a white Dodge Ram"

"Two Hispanic males just fired at a fire truck and fled on foot"

"Bottles are being thrown at officers"

"Black male with a handgun white shirt black pants red shoes"

Bernie is leading a fascist movement people. Wake up.

Trump should have his rallies at 6am. That will ensure no democrats show up.

He should call his rallies job fairs. That will keep the blacks away.

Why do they hate the first amendment?

They would probably argue that protesting is taking advantage of the 1st amendment. The violence on both sides is troubling though nothing like it since 1960s I hope things don't get any worse violence is never the answer.

The first amendment includes the right to protest, so why do you hate the first amendment?

Donald wants to sue journalists who criticize him. Why does he hate the first amendment?
