You'll get information all right. When tortured we will say anything to make it stop. We tell our torturers what we think they want to hear. Not to mention there is no crime which is punishable by torture. That would be cruel and unusual and unconstitutional. And that's on the (often false) presumption that the person detained is actually guilty of any wrongdoing.

At least the Bush administration pretended that we didn't torture by using the disgusting euphemism "enhanced interrogation techniques". Here we have Trump nakedly advocating torture. What an embarrassment to the American people he is.
