Yep, Libertarian Party. They are the most legitimate third party.

I voted for Johnson in 2012. Felt good in the booth but when reality hit that night it felt like I wasted my vote.

Are you in a swing state? It doesn't really matter who you vote for if you're not in a swing state.
There really needs to be an anti 2 party movement. Like, if you're in California and a republican, vote 3rd party. If you're a democrat in Texas do the same.

Trump will be a third party candidate if he's blocked from the Republican nomination, I think. Both the Democratic and Republican parties will be in for some hilarity if they block either of them, especially the Republicans and Trump. This is shaping up to be a popcorn-worthy election year.

Sorry, one of them would have to run as a fourth-party candidate.

I agree with lostanut, that's my preferred electoral outcome.

Ideologically I am more in line with the libertarian politically, but I would consider voting for Trump since he is the best shot at keeping 2 quite unattractive and potentially disastrous democratic candidates out of the White House. I think he is by far the best choice and best chance that the GOP has right now.
If Trump isn't in it, I would go for Gary Johnson all the way.

Yes -- Libertarian Party candidate.

I will probably vote third party regardless what happens with the RNC and DNC nominations.

If neither the Donald nor the Bern get to be their party's nominee at the same time then I think many people will be voting for Smith and Wesson.
Others will choose Mr. Colt. And then some will side with Mr. Molotov and Mr. Kalashnikov.
So there are, in fact, many candidates yet to choose from.

Not even close to time, IMO.
The OP brings up the case of these populist candidates being "blocked" which implies, in my mind, that improper actions are taken to thwart the democratic will of the people. Could you imagine Trump winning enough delegates to get the Republican nomination and then finding these delegates defect to Jeb Bush?
I can't. But if that did happen then we would have a court battle first. And depending on how that went things could get hot.
Add to that the simultaneous same thing happening to Bernie Sanders. Again, he wins the Democrat delegate majority but his nomination is thwarted by defections of "just enough" to Hillbillary to make her the nominee instead. And then the courts hold that up as legitimate as well!
Wow...that would be horrible and I can only speculate that horrible things would spring forth from that.
The only thing that holds our society together is the assumption that honest, decent people are the norm and that the resulting outcomes of our system are generally fair and in keeping with our laws and traditions. Take those positive assumptions away and everything and anything is possible.
