No, its not. The real power is in the house and senate. The supreme court just interprets existing laws and the consequences thereof. They don't write the laws.
Want change? Make a law to get it. The supreme court didn't write the ACA, it just upheld it as legal. The supreme court didn't make gay marriage legal, they said it was illegal to discriminate against them given our current laws. The supreme court didn't make campaign limits illegal, they said the limits as written conflicted with a previous law.
Don't like the ACA? Get congress and the Senate to repeal it.
Don't like gay marriage? Then make marriage a non-governmental institution, as churches can already give meaningless certificates to whomever they want.
Don't like citizen's united? Reform non profit rules and add requirements about reporting donors. There are probably creative routes that would allow a bit of limiting without being in conflict of citizens united.
