Does Bernie actually care about black lives? Yes.
Sorry but the government does not help and work for the people - especially poor minorities. Just look at the jail population.

He doesn't care enough about black lives to live near them. Hence why he hopped on the "white flight" bandwagon to Vermont in the '60s.
"But, but, MLK marched with Bernie!!!" Meanwhile, the Sandernistas conveniently leave out that Mitch McConnell was also at that march.

Right. Affirmative action. Diversity quotas. Section 8. Minority college grants and aid. Priority hires of minorities. Equal pay act. You're so right. The government has done nothing for minorities.
As far as the jail thing goes, what are the courts supposed to do? Let a criminal go just because they are black? Nonsense. Complete nonsense.

Government does not have these programs because they are altruistic- let's get that straight. Government wants people DEPENDENT on them.
Racism, segregation, and Jim Crow did exist so some of these programs seemed 'appropriate' at the times.
I was referring to blacks getting arrested for drugs 4x per capita.
