These are the Republican primaries. You have to be batshit crazy to do well. Kasich is too reasonable for his own good.
He and Paul would do better running as Democrats.

That makes sense!

No one knows who he is. Same thing as in '04, my hopeful was Michael Badnarik but no one knew who he is.

Seriously. What is his platform? Without going to his site you would never know.

He impressed me the most tonight ... Even though I like trump.

I think it's his weird gesticulation. He looks like he's either really nervous or slightly coked up when he talks.

Interesting is that Bush, Rubio, Cruz and Christie have trained body language.
Trump uses 1 hand and Carson looks like he's offering everything to God with his double palm up gestures.
Kasich seemed more on the trump side for gestures and looked like he hated podiums.
Trump and Kasich have the least facial control.

On paper he's got an impressive resume, but every time I see him he just manages to annoy the hell out of me. He seems to spend half his time calling Republican voters ignorant rubes and the other half telling us that his father was a mailman. Or was it a fireman? I forget.
[–] WhiteRonin [S] ago
He's the mailman guy's son.
That's almost as good as learning law from books found in a barrel.

he is too boring, that seems to be his only real fault.
[–] WhiteRonin [S] ago
So pretty good VP material?
[–] dannyduchamp 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
He's boring. That is all.
[–] WhiteRonin [S] ago
Everybody is boring compared to Trump but yeah I get how his friendly looking persona can be that.

I haven't heard him speak enough ... Last night was the first time.
He did seem really eager to say more.

Voters misread his last name as 'Kucinich', and think, "No way am I voting for that nutcase!"
